Services
Specialist English and maths tutoring, and coaching, for children, young people and adults with barriers. My sessions are designed specifically to not be ‘more school’.
Maths and English Tutoring
Maths and English sessions are bespoke, in person and designed to meet the individual needs of children, young people, and adults.
Experience of supporting learners with:
ADHD, ASD, PDA, Tourette’s, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, executive functioning struggles, slow processing, acquired brain injury, school based trauma, anxiety, low confidence, "Children We Care For" and Down’s Syndrome.
I teach Maths and English from KS2 up to GCSE and functional skills level.
I specialise in supporting home-educated learners and currently lead in-person GCSE English and Maths groups in Oxfordshire. Please reach out to discuss tailored 1:1 or group sessions.
Coaching
I have extensive experience working with individuals of all ages to navigate learning and personal challenges.
Coaching is a solution-focused tool designed to set clear goals, identify barriers, and create actionable plans to overcome them. It is useful for anyone feeling "stuck" personally, academically and/or professionally.
Sessions can be held wherever you feel most comfortable. They could be in your home, in the community or even on a walk, for example.
Approach
Building trust and psychological safety is the cornerstone of my approach. This allows students to feel comfortable making mistakes, expressing their emotions and talking about their experiences.
I try to bridge the gap between academic support and personal development by providing a holistic learning experience. By integrating coaching techniques into my teaching, I help learners identify the emotional and cognitive barriers – such as anxiety or executive functioning challenges – that can hinder progress.
Get in touch
Whether you need tutoring or coaching support, or both, please do not hestitate to give me a call, text or email.
There is no obligation to proceed with either and, if I can’t help, I often know someone who can.
